So I wanted to make a game...

A very long time ago, me and some old friends of mine wanted to make our own little game, it was an exciting and fun project, we were full of energy and will to make it happen, so we got involved into the process, I did every drawing, animation and asset, while the other two worked on make everything fit together and function properly on Unity, besides making sounds and music.
It would have been a 2d platformer, with kirby-ish mechanics.

The premise was that in this world, kitchens and pottery have been overwhelmed by a crazy amount of food, and when the food itself took over, only a few pots remained to face it, to cook it all!

This was a fun idea, full of intricate mechanics where you could literally cook the enemies and use them as a weapon, with various effects and powers, but with more projectiles being shoot, the more the health bar itself would decrease, as it was also the character's power bar, meaning that you had to be careful enough not to take too much damage from enemies as much as shooting at them... luckly, with the help of your magic scoop, you could transform the enemies in basic ingredients to regain health and power.

Unluckly, after only the first level in a continent made of chocolate, we split up, and this project was never completed.

Here on Twitter you can see some in-game footage:
